Welcome to Central Sydney Intensive High School (CSIEHS) where our school motto Harmony and Progress guides everything we do.
We are a coeducational intensive English high school that prepares students for secondary schools across Sydney.
Our programs help students develop essential language skills and gain confidence for secondary school and beyond. We create a supportive learning environment where every student can make progress.
During their time at CSIEHS, students develop essential language skills whilst gaining the confidence and abilities necessary to thrive in secondary school and in the future.
We understand that learning English whilst adapting to a new country is challenging. We are committed to helping each student reach their potential.

Our teaching staff
Teachers at Central Sydney Intensive English High School (CSIEHS) are specialists in English as an additional language or dialect (EAL/D). As the first school of its kind in New South Wales, CSIEHS has over forty years of experience in delivering effective English language programs.
Your child will receive comprehensive support at CSIEHS, provided by a team of dedicated staff committed to students’ success. Bilingual support staff use their skills in translation and interpreting to help students, staff, parents, and the community, enhancing students’ learning and wellbeing.

Wellbeing and support staff
Our wellbeing and support staff guide student wellbeing, learning needs and inclusion. They work with teachers to make personalised adjustments. This means each child can take part fully in school life. We make our school welcoming and accessible to every child.
