PDHPE
PDHPE at Central Sydney
Our Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) program explores topics that encourage students to make informed decisions related to their health, safety, wellbeing and physical activity. Students engage in both classroom-based learning and practical movement activities, meeting twice weekly to develop theoretical understanding and physical skills. Through a range of movement-based experiences, students build confidence and competence while developing knowledge that promotes lifelong participation in physical activity.
The development of these health and physical education skills supports students to become informed decision-makers, confident movers, and healthy individuals prepared for their ongoing wellbeing and physical development.

Dance at Central Sydney
At Central Sydney, students are provided with the opportunity to participate in dance during our sport afternoons on Wednesday. Over the term program, students rehearse an ensemble dance piece and are encouraged to perform at our final assembly at the end of every term. Dance students often collaborate with the school's music ensemble and experience the process of rehearsal and collaborative production.
