Central Sydney Intensive English High School welcomes international students of high school age, Years 7 to 11 who require English language tuition.

Central Sydney Intensive English High School (CSIEHS), previously called Cleveland Street Intensive English High School, is a specialist government school within the NSW Department of Education. With forty years of experience, CSIEHS is well-respected locally and internationally for its teaching programs and practices.

In its new 21st century facility, CSIEHS is located close to the city's centre inside one of the fastest growing, most dynamic areas of Sydney, an area that includes Australian Technology Park. Travel to the school is easy as it is near many important public transport routes, including train and bus routes.

Proficiency in English is essential for success in Australian schools. Students attending the school study a high school preparation program for 10 to 50 weeks, depending on the individual student's language needs and entry standard of English. At the end of their stay at CSIEHS students are helped to transfer to their nominated government high school.

Students are well-supported during their time at CSIEHS with specialist bilingual staff helping students in their learning. Bilingual staff also assist students with welfare issues and in parent interviews.
